Gina Vlasek is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. She received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from East Carolina University in 2006. She completed a health psychology internship at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC where she worked closely with adults suffering from cardiovascular trauma, chronic asthma, COPD, traumatic brain injuries, diabetes, and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, Gina has psychological assessment and counseling experience in several clinical settings including in psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms, private practice, and in an employee assistance program.
Gina's education, training, and interests enable her to be a strong fit to provide psychotherapy to those with anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, body image issues, grief/loss, life transitions, stress management concerns, chronic illnesses, and workplace issues. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. She is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA) and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA).
